Ringholm provides independent and commercial training courses and services related to various open standards (e.g. HL7, IHE, DICOM)
in the field of healthcare systems integration. Our company is product independent, vendor independent and standard independent.
Clients include software vendors (e.g. Agfa, Bosch, CSC, GE, Oracle, SAP and Siemens), healtcare provider organisations, various European HL7 and IHE country organizations (who act as resellers of our white-label training courses, e.g. HL7 UK, IHE NL, HL7 NO), and national NHIN/HIE-related organizations (e.g. NHS, Nictiz and TEHIK). Our area of expertise encompasses issues such as systems integration, interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7 v2, DICOM, Edifact, CDA, xDT) , message brokers, terminology servers, master patient indexes, electronic health records, vendor neutral archives and healthcare telematics. Our tutors and consultants take part in the development process of systems integration and messaging related standards in order to keep abreast of new developments. No man is an IslandNo man is an island. And the same is true for individual applications in healthcare, which is why we named our company after a small island in Scandinavian coastal waters (holm = island, ring = circle). For what is more in need of integration than an island ? We are in the business of building bridges, so that ultimately our islands will be as well connected as Gamla Stan, the island that forms the heart of Stockholm.
